This hidden gem is located high above the clouds, tucked into one end of the fine dining Japanese restaurant Inakaya. Hive 101 is not advertised around the ICC complex, and is a mellow venue in which to enjoy the superlative views of Hong Kong and reasonably priced cocktails. Couches and tables are arranged around one side of the room, the corner perch a particularly coveted spot with its semi-private feel and unparalleled view. The shiso and green apple champagne cocktail is particularly good, the vibrancy of the herb and fruit melding well with the bubbles. Wines are not cheap, however, with many bottles in the thousands, but there is a great range of artisanal Japanese beers and liquors. Bar snacks also borrow from the influence of the restaurant neighbour, and include yakitori and other delicious small bites.
