Festiva impresses with its sheer volume of enticing Asian dishes, and frequent festivals that celebrate a particular region’s specialties. While the standard buffet staples such as salads, cold cuts and cold seafood are available, we suggest heading to the curry and noodle stations, which always offer fantastic, full-flavoured dishes. On our visit this year, the restaurant was celebrating the traditions of Malaysia, and an assam laksa was spot on with plenty of strong fish and shrimp flavours in an intense broth. The Cantonese meats station is also dependable, offering a satisfyingly moist poached chicken with ginger and scallion sauce. The restaurant is rarely not busy, but the vast number of stations means there is rarely a hold up at any one point.
