Harbourside is most famous for its Sunday brunch, with optional free-flowing champagne. A smarter choice for those not too concerned about the boozy side of brunch might be to visit on weekdays. The buffet is almost as large and diverse, it is significantly more inexpensive (HK$358), and much more tranquil. Stand-out dishes from the buffet include the authentically spicy Indian and Thai curries, the adorable mini portions of Hainan chicken rice, the Chinese soup which tastes just as grandma would have made it, and the buttery palmier cookies for dessert. More health-conscious diners will appreciate the iHealth menu, which has been created in collaboration with Adventist Hospital. It offers healthier choices such as pizza bases made with rye, burgers with guacamole on a multi-grain bun, and a wholewheat veggie panini.
