Food and wine enthusiasts will be able to enjoy a unique sensory journey at the spectacular pop-up Laurent-Perrier Champagne Bar throughout the gourmet festival and discover the House’s brand new wine: La Cuvée.

After 15 years of extensive work on supply quality, steady progress regarding winemaking and increased mastery of the art of blending, Laurent-Perrier unveils its new signature wine for the first time in Asia.

Over the years, Laurent-Perrier has improved the quality of its supply, notably through increased ownership of vineyards. La Cuvée is created from over 100 crus selected by Laurent-Perrier.

The wine takes his name from the blend of the best juices (only 80% of the extracted grape juices - « la cuvée » - will be used in Laurent-Perrier’s blend).

As a foundation of Laurent-Perrier style, La Cuvée has a majority of Chardonnay (50 to 55%) in the blend to bring the aromatic freshness and elegance that characterise the wines. Added to the blend, 20-30% reserve wines ensure a perfect consistency of style.

La Cuvée undergoes an extensive ageing process in Laurent-Perrier's cellars until a perfect maturity is obtained ; the resulting freshness and balance are enhanced by a light dosage.

Guests to the bar will be able to meet Laurent-Perrier team and be advised through the selection of the range: Laurent-Perrier La Cuvée, Cuvée Rosé Laurent-Perrier, Laurent-Perrier Vintage 2007, Ultra Brut Laurent-Perrier and the prestige Cuvées Grand Siècle and Alexandra Rosé 2004 will be available by the glass or by the bottle.

Dedicated workshops will also guide foodies through the ultimate pairing of champagne and caviar Beluga or Valrhona chocolate.

The complex relationship between aroma and taste, and unique expertise behind each of Laurent-Perrier’s champagne - with a style deliberately marked by freshness and elegance - will also be revealed.
