Dark and White Chocolate Afternoon Tea at Café 103

The Ritz-Carlton in West Kowloon introduces a new Chocolate Contrast afternoon tea set 

Even though the Chocolate Library at The Ritz-Carlton in West Kowloon has been renamed as Café 103, the elegant venue-with-a-view has never stopped offering the best chocolate experience for cocoa aficionados through its signature afternoon tea. On top of the regular tea set, Café 103 has just introduced a new Chocolate Contrast afternoon tea, which uses premium dark and white chocolates from French chocolatier Valrhona to create a contrast in colour as well as flavour.

The bottom shelf of the extravagant afternoon tea set is adorned with two savoury items, including applewood-smoked pepper duck with honey mustard dressing, and Norway salmon rillettes with squid ink sesame bun. Meanwhile, the upper decks feature an array of sweet delicacies, including white chocolate creations mixed with berries, showcasing a perfect balance between sweetness and sourness. More highlights from the sweet selections include:

- Vanilla yoghurt cream with chocolate shot and macerated berries

- Ivory almond pave with raspberry and chocolate cremeux

- “Chocolate Opaly” lemon macaron

- Jivara, salted caramel, hazelnut mille-feuille

- Black and white pecan cake with cinnamon cream

The afternoon tea is priced at HK$268 for one person or HK$508 for two, including a choice of tea, coffee or the house signature hot chocolate. The tea is available daily between 3pm to 6pm.
