Late last year, barbecue restaurant Blue Smoke closed and works began for a new Dining Concepts project, Mayta. Scheduled to open by mid-March, the restaurant will peddle modern Peruvian cooking by chef Jaime Pesaque, a champion of high-end Latin American cuisine.

The menu will skitter across the diverse range of Peruvian staples, in both small and large plate format, with selections including anticuchos, ceviche (there will be a dedicated ceviche bar) and fresh seafood.
