The celebrated hot pot restaurant presents seasonal ‘Yim Tsai’ yellow oil crabs all summer long. From now until end of August, Megan’s Kitchen is presenting the first round of the crustacean harvest with the arrival of yellow oil ‘yim tsai’ crabs (奄仔蟹) . Guests can indulge in the sweet meat and creamy coral from these seasonal crabs, which are best steamed and accompanied with homemade Chinese red vinegar dressing. Baking the crabs in coarse sea salt is another way to capture its succulent texture and aroma. Fresh ‘yim tsai’ crabs are available in limited supplies, and advanced reservations are strongly recommended.
